Problem: Hair is very heavy and has a lot of volume. Solution: Check that you don’t in fact have very fine hair in a large quantity (can be mistaken for thick hair, you need to use fine hair products to avoid problems). If you have thick hair then choose a flattering hair style, use wet-to-dry hair straighteners instead of a hair dryer to reduce volume and use the silk brush trick to keep the hair fluid and unclumped. Recommended shampoo for thick hair: Aveda, TiGi, GHD, Pantene, Head and Shoulders, Tresemme Silk brush trick: Buy a small square of raw silk material, wrap it around a brush and then ‘brush’ your hair firmly to transfer the silk to the hair. This is better than using hair serum for shine. |
